The First FAO Global Exhibition: From Seeds to Foods is an international event organized by FAO to celebrate its 80th anniversary, showcasing the diversity of agricultural systems, traditional foods, and sustainable practices from around the world.

The MED GIAHS project will participate with a double stand, presenting the Mediterranean GIAHS Network, sharing knowledge about Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (GIAHS), and offering guided tastings of representative products such as salt, wines, and raisins from participating SIPAM sites.

  • 14:30 – 15:00. MED GIAHS Tasting: Wines from Málaga (SIPAM Málaga Raisins in La Axarquía, Spain)
  • 16:30 – 17:30. Talk: “Discover the GIAHS Networks: MED GIAHS Project”

  • 17:30 – 18:00. MED GIAHS Tasting: Raisins from Málaga (SIPAM Málaga Raisins in La Axarquía, Spain)
