The MED-GIAHS event in La Axarquía (Málaga, Spain), taking place on 8–10 September 2025, brings together partners, experts and local stakeholders to advance the protection and promotion of traditional agricultural heritage systems.
The programme includes the 4th Steering Committee (for project partners), the 3rd Interregional Seminar (open to all participants), and the 2nd Study Visits to the Málaga Raisins GIAHS site. Activities will cover project monitoring, communication actions, the presentation of the Joint Guide for Action Plans, local catalogues of sustainable agricultural tourism, and the first draft of the MED-GIAHS Network Protocol.
Participants will also take part in field visits, networking opportunities, and cultural experiences in Almáchar and Moclinejo villages, reinforcing the link between agricultural heritage, sustainable tourism, and local communities.
