Local workshops are being held during June to bring local voices around the table and explore the opportunities of the SIPAM territories and candidates to be awarded with the SIPAM recognitaion in relation to tourism. The goal of these individual LOCAL WORKSHOP is to achieve a diagnostic of the resources and potential of tourism in the territory and, afterwards, to get a joint good practices analysis.
The six partners are working hard before the summer break to obtain territorial preliminary analysis which will be the cornerstone of the following works within the project.
The analysis will answer questions such as:
-
TOURIST DEMAND: characterisation of current and potential tourists who may visit the system.
-
TOURIST RESOURCES: identification and valuation of existing resources (agricultural, cultural, natural, etc.).
-
EXPERIENCES AND PRODUCTS: identification and evaluation of the potential of the experiences (capacity to attract visitors).
-
TOURIST DESTINATION: conception of the tourist commercial brand, naming of the tourist destination.
-
GOOD PRACTICES: identification of good tourism practices that are successfully developed in the system.
All local, regional and national actors related to the SIPAM production systems such as producers, tourism agentes and public bodies, amongst others, are to participate in these local meetings.
